Elevate
Dance
Academy

Elevate Dance Academy started in 2018 as a vision that with the right training and support, every dancer can become their very best self. That with strong technique, teachers who believe in you, peers who trust you, and a love for the art of dance wherever it takes you, anything is possible.

We serve the Portland-Beaverton regional area as a local dance studio with something for everyone, regardless of skill level or background. We nourish and train young artists, and we have a ton of fun in class.

Four studios with ample space

  • Our facilities include 3,200 square feet of dance space with separate girls and boys dressing rooms with lockers, a homework area, lobby waiting areas, a main office, and a snack bar. A bonus for non-dancing siblings and parents, our building also houses a pilates studio, swimming pool, basketball court, two indoor soccer fields, a fitness bootcamp, and more!

  • Across our studio spaces, you’ll see a variety of dance equipment like ballet barres, tumbling mats, foam blocks, bands, and more. We also have three studios with marley flooring and one with wooden panels, a good mix to serve the needs of all different styles of dance.

A pre-professional Company

  • As a fully pre-professional competitive program offering the highest level of dance for ages 6-18, our Company dancers and instructors work hard and together achieve big things. Both our in-house and guest choreographers are nationally recognized, and we take great pride in the level of detail we give to our custom-made costumes and props.

  • In a typical year we attend five major events in the Pacific Northwest, and many of our dancers attend optional competition and conventions throughout the West Coast, including national competitions. Competition isn’t everything, but we certainly like to win.

Free trials for everyone

  • We want your child to have fun and experience the joy of movement, uninhibited by any pressures to join our studio beforehand. Take up to four classes in different styles, and see which one fits best for you!

  • Whether your child is new to dance or deeply experienced, we would love to welcome them into class. Our teachers can help make modifications suited to any skill level or specific needs.

Performances with friends

  • Our Jingle and Mingle Winter Show is a great way to celebrate the holidays here at Elevate! Dancers in selected classes will perform fun, holiday-themed pieces for everyone to see. Our performance is followed by a festive afterparty where dancers, families, and staff can sip a cup of hot cocoa, decorate ornaments, and chat!

  • Our End of the Year Show is an exciting event to showcase all of our dancers’ progress this year. Dancers in selected classes, as well as our competitive Company, will perform in our annual show to share their hard work with all of their friends and family. Purchase tickets when they go on sale later this spring!
