Schedule & Tuition
Come dance your heart out. Class is in session! Read below for our current session schedule, yearly studio calendar, registration & tuition structure, and accompanying studio policies.
Current Session
Fall/Spring 2024-25
(September 3rd, 2024 — June 20th, 2025)
We have four studios — A, B, and C are located upstairs and each have marley flooring. D is located downstairs and has hardwood flooring.
Please note, the current schedule is subject to change as class enrollment dictates.
Classes marked “upon approval” will require instructor evaluation and approval to enroll. If it’s your first time at the studio, you should join the lowest level class of your age range, and the teacher will determine which level is best for you. You can either register for an account and drop-in to the class, or a take a free trial if available.

Studio Policies
By enrolling in class, you are agreeing to the following studio policies. Please use your best judgement when enrolling in classes that require instructor approval. The instructor will evaluate you on the first day of class.
Tuition
The first hour of class will be billed at the full tuition rate of $75.
If taking more than one class, your TOTAL class time will be rounded up to the half-hour mark, e.g. 6.25 hrs of class time will round up to 6.5 hrs tuition level.
There is a $600 family maximum amount of tuition charged per month. Beyond that, you will not need to pay for additionally enrolled classes or drop-ins.
Holidays, snow days, etc. do not affect tuition price.
Tuition will be charged to the account on file on the 1st of the month or upon enrolling if after the 1st. A $25 late fee will be assessed every 10 days late.
We do not offer refunds for the remainder of a month if a class is dropped mid-month.
If a class needs to be cancelled or combined with another class, we will do our absolute best to help move your dancer accordingly. Should no alternatives be possible, we will refund you a prorated amount for the remaining classes in the month.
Enrollment
In order to enroll, you must register for an account on our Parent Portal and sign all studio policy and waiver e-documents.
Dancers must enroll in classes based on their age as of September 3rd. If your dancer ages out of their class, teacher approval must be given to transfer.
Any dancer with excessive, unexcused absences (3 or more in 2 months) in a WAITLISTED class may be withdrawn from the class altogether.
If you are waitlisted for a class for less than a month and availability opens up, you will be added to the class. If longer, our office will reach out to you to confirm before adding.
Class Drops & Transfers
Any DROPS or WITHDRAWS must take place by the 25th of the prior month; e.g., if you wish to discontinue or drop a class for February, you must withdraw by January 25th. You must use the DROP FORM linked here or in our site navigation. It is your responsibility to drop classes before the deadline.
To transfer from one class to another, simply add the class you’d like to take on the Parent Portal and fill out the drop form for the one you’re transferring from. Unless the difference changes your total monthly hour amount, we will not charge for a class transfer.
We do not offer refunds for the remainder of a month if a class is dropped mid-month.
Please use your best judgement when enrolling in classes that require instructor approval. The instructor will evaluate you on your first day in class. If you have further questions about levels, please contact the office.
Drop-Ins
Drop-ins (as in, taking a class you are not enrolled in) are by default $20 per class.
In order to drop into a class, you must first register for an account on our parent portal and sign all studio policy and waiver e-documents.
To drop into a class that is at capacity/waitlisted (check on Parent Portal), you may wait outside of the studio at the start of the class to see if there are any absences.
If have reached the family max for tuition, you may drop into any class free of charge.
Free Trials
You are allowed to take one free trial class for up to four different “styles”/class types per session.
In order to reserve your free trial, you must fill out the free trial form located on our Free Trial page.
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of your class. You will receive a wristband from our office manager to wear in class.
If you are the parent of a free trial dancer, you are allowed to stay and watch the class provided you do not distract the dancers or film. Please keep any other little ones close by and free from the classroom door.
Class Viewing
We don’t allow viewing for classes or waiting just outside the door except for the specified Parent Observation Weeks, which occur in the fall and spring, or for a Tiny Dancer class.
Tiny Dancer class exception: Parents of Tiny Dancers can remain upstairs near Studio C provided you do not distract the dancers or film. Please keep any siblings by your side as well.
Please remember — dancers being able to learn and perform with their peers in their own environment is essential for developing confidence in dance. Viewing through the window or waiting just outside the door during class time diminishes dancer focus, puts unnecessary pressure on dancers and teachers, and takes away from providing the best teaching and training environment for your dancer. It can also make it difficult to navigate the hallways.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to sit downstairs in the lobby during class times.
Company Team
All Company requirements are outlined in each member’s Company contract.
Company dancers are expected to uphold the highest standards of attendance, participation, communication, camaraderie, and mutual respect.
Style-specific Company audition fees are non-refundable.
Locker Room Policy
No personal items of any kind to be left out at any point; backpacks, food, clothing, water bottles, shoes, etc etc – anything at all. Everything must be stored in a locker and taken out at the end of the day.
No loitering in the locker room. The locker room is for changing. Once you’ve changed, please exit. We have the kid’s room, homework area by studio c, and area in front of the office if you’d like to hang around.
No eating in the locker room. Everything from a fruit strip to a to-go meal, everything must be eaten outside of the locker room.
No trash left in the locker room of any kind. If the trash can in the room is full, then throw something away in any of the other trash cans in the studio.
If any dancers are found to be continually breaking these standards, locker room privileges will no longer be available to them.
Etiquette
Dance is a positive environment! We lift one another up. We do not speak badly about any other dancer, parent, studio, or teacher. We are here to grow personally and help each other as a team.
We have zero tolerance for bullying.
We have respect for our teachers and the experience of other dancers in class; we aren’t disruptive, disrespectful, or diminishing of those around us.
We show up to class on time, in the proper attire for our respective dance style.
Elevate Dance Academy reserves the right to refuse further classes for any dancer/parent/family for any policy violation or reason, at any time, without the possibility for refunds.
