Jisela Bowman

Instructor: Hip Hop

Jisela’s infatuation with the arts blossomed in her formative years when she embarked on a journey with AMTC, a multifaceted talent agency catering to performers of diverse works of art. Through her journey with AMTC, traveling and performing in front of various talent agencies, she decided to hone in on dance. Gravitating towards street and fusion styles, Jisela joined the competition world where she performed in award winning routines for many years. During these years, she also taught all levels of dance to adolescents in various styles such as ballet and hip hop.

Her talent was recognized at notable conventions such as Monsters of Hip Hop, where she was specifically awarded a scholarship from Luther Brown, as well as recognition from Radix Dance Convention. Jisela embarked on a new journey at the CLI Conservatory in Massachusetts and studied under influential dance figures such as Teddy Forance, Robert Green, James Alonzo, Brian Friedman, and many more. She participated in choreographic projects led by Tyrik Patterson, Marlee Hightower, Kenichi Kasamatsu, Al Blackstone, as well as other renowned choreographers. By studying under such intelligent, inspirational movers, Jisela found herself wanting to take her inspiration and put it into work of her own. She hopes to explore mentoring aspiring dancers of all ages as well as exploring her own journey in dance.
