Mari Juras, a native of the Pacific Northwest, received her early dance training in Portland, Oregon. She trained professionally at Ballet Austin (Austin, TX) and Alonzo King Lines Ballet (San Francisco, CA).
Her performance background includes original works by Lauren Edson, Eowyn Emerald, BodyVox Dance Ensemble, Uri Sands, Iratxe Ansa, and Septime Webre. Additional experiences include Post: Ballet workshops, Launch with Northwest Dance Project, Atlanta Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and Lemon Sponge Cake.
She is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) and has a Bachelor of Science-Business Degree in Human Resource Management and Leadership and Management from Portland State University. In addition to her professional commitments, Mari is a ballet and contemporary instructor at Elevate Dance Academy, Allegro Dance Studio, Steps PDX, and The Portland Ballet.
